Willena Whaley

July 23, 1920 - August 7, 2016

Willena Gulick Whaley of Williamstown KY was born July 23, 1920 in Pendleton County, KY and died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Grant Center at the age of 96.

She was the daughter of the late Euell Forest and Lula Violet Shipp Gulick, a retired inspector for Dr. Scholl’s in Falmouth, KY, and a member of the Mt Carmel Baptist Church. On December 16, 1939 she was united in marriage to her late husband Emerson Ellis Whaley.

Surviving is 3 sons, Marvin Glenn (Kay) Whaley of Williamstown, Darrell (Edna) Whaley of Dry Ridge, and Ricky (Carol) Whaley of Williamstown; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 brother, Thomas Gulick of Williamstown; and 2 sisters, Connie Wesselman and Blanche Pelfrey both of Amelia, OH.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday August 11, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with burial to follow in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
