Mrs. Hazel Lynn Perkins Cooper of Crittenden, KY. passed away Friday, June 24 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 77.  Mrs. Cooper was born July 2, 1938 in Lexington, KY. to the late James Perkins and Ida Sneed Perkins.  Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.  Mrs. Cooper enjoyed gardening, canning, shopping and walking at the Grant County Park in Crittenden.  Mrs. Cooper will most be remembered by her family for her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cooper on August 27, 1996 and by sisters: Jeannette Hicks, Mildred Bustle, Shirley Clemons, Bertie Ingram and brothers: James Perkins, Robert Perkins and Frank Perkins.

Mrs. Cooper leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons: Ricky Cooper and his wife Linda of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Doug Cooper and his wife Emily of Walton, KY., 3 daughters: Donna Greene and her husband Darrell of Dry Ridge, KY., Judy Whaley and her husband David of Berry, KY., Debbie Nelson and her husband Rick of Butler, KY., a sister: Jane Crider of Verona, KY., 2 brothers: Jimmy Perkins of Florence, KY., Tommy Perkins of Walton, KY. and she was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Crystal Rice, Justin Greene, Amanda Hubbard, Kelly Cooper, Tina Whaley, Chad Nelson, Chris Nelson, Brandon Cooper, Austin Cooper, Katrina Cooper, 7 great grandchildren: Kyle and Joel Greene, Hailey Cooper, Holden Hubbard, Hayden Hubbard, Lea and Connor Nelson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Lynn Perkins Cooper will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, June 30 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Pendleton County.
