Glen Thomas Epperson

September 15, 1942 - May 17, 2016

Mr. Glen Thomas Epperson passed away Tuesday, May 17 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center at the age of 73.  Mr. Epperson was born September 15, 1942 in Corinth, KY. to the late Ina Pearl Epperson.  Mr. Epperson retired from the Lexington/Fayette County Urban Government where he worked as a juvenile probation officer and later worked for Dismas Charities.  Mr. Epperson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and had served in Minot, North Dakota.  Mr. Epperson enjoyed all things outdoors especially hunting and fishing.  He was an avid reader and a collector of various artifacts.  He had a love of animals and in his chosen profession a deep commitment to children and their well being.

Mr. Epperson leaves to mourn his passing a daughter: Elizabeth Frances "Lizzy" Epperson of Lexington, KY., a half-brother: Tony Epperson of Corinth, KY. and a granddaughter: Ellie Epperson.

Funeral services for Mr. Glen Thomas Epperson will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, May 21 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth.  Visitation will be there on Saturday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
