December 8, 1933 - April 24, 2016

Mr. James Wiley Richardson of Scott County, KY. passed away Sunday, April 24 at his residence at the age of 82.  Mr. Richardson was born December 8, 1932 in Clincho, Virginia to the late John Richardson and Edith Hunsaker.  Mr. Richardson was a true patriot and proudly served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force during the Korean War, the Vietnam War as well as during peacetime.  He had tremendous mechanical ability and was able to repair airplanes and helicopters as well as automobiles.  Mr. Richardson was also a member of the Canby Tabernacle Church in Owen County.

Mr. Richardson leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Joan Taylor Richardson, 2 daughters: Paula Kiser of Georgetown, KY., Donna Burgess of Florida, 2 sons: Jimmy Richardson of Columbus, OH., Russell Powers of Freemount, New Hampshire, a sister: Sue Wright of Middletown, OH., 2 special granddaughters: Chelsea Morin, Ally Richardson, 4 additional grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. James Wiley Richardson will be conducted 12:30 pm Friday, April 29 at the Canby Tabernacle Church, 10685 Highway 330, Corinth, KY. 41010 with visitation there from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Inurnment with full military honors will be at 3:00 pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
