Mrs. Doris Virginia McDonough, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, January 24 at her residence at the age of 93.  Mrs. McDonough was born June 9, 1922 in Fiskburg, KY. to the late Marion Francis Collins and Anna Carlisle Collins.  Mrs. McDonough was a homemaker and a member of the St. William Catholic Church.  Mrs. McDonough was a 1940 graduate of the Simon Kenton High School and for many years she sang in the All Star Chorus.  She was a former member of the Wilmington Baptist Church and in years past she enjoyed camping with her family and being outdoors.  Her love of nature has been instilled in her entire family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McDonough was preceded in death by her husband: Matthew Lawrence McDonough in 1984 and by all of her siblings.

Mrs. McDonough leaves to mourn her passing 2 sons: Timothy Wayne McDonough of West Harrison, IN., Patrick Kevin McDonough of Dry Ridge, KY., 6 daughters: Kathleen McDonough of Dry Ridge, KY., Teresa Perkins of Cincinnati, OH., Cynthia Lee Johnson of Cincinnati, OH., Mary Ellen Hundley of Erlanger, KY., Maureen McDonough of Cincinnati, OH. and Collette O'Brian of Liberty, KY.  Mrs. McDonough was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 noon Friday, January 29 at the St. William Catholic Church with Rev. Damian Hils celebrating the mass.  Visitation will also be at the St. William Catholic Church on Friday, January 29 from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.  Burial will be in the St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH.

Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the St. William Catholic Church.

The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Doris Virginia McDonough.
