Alma Jean Barber

July 28, 1938 - December 25, 2015

Mrs. Alma Jean Barber of Williamstown, KY. passed away Friday, December 25 at the Grant Center Nursing Home at the age of 77.  Mrs. Barber was born July 28, 1938 in Owenton, KY. to the late Tommy Wright and Alma Jones Wright.  Mrs. Barber was a homemaker and a member of the First Love Community Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Barber in 1984.  She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Buford Perry and Roy Lee Perry.

Mrs. Barber leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Mae Verax of Williamstown, KY., sons: Willie F. Barber of Union, KY., Tommy Barber of Louisville, KY., a sister: Judy Perry of Louisville, KY. and she was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Alma Jean Barber will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, January 16 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. David Hammonds officiating.  Visitation will be there on Saturday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
