Mrs. Wilma Colson, of Corinth, KY. passed away Friday, December 11 at the Grant Center Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 85.  Mrs. Colson was born March 15, 1930 in Dry Ridge, KY. to the late Jesse James Knight and Estelle Scroggins Knight.  Mrs. Colson was a homemaker and a long time member of the Antioch Church of Christ where she sang in the choir.  Mrs. Colson was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Grant County Homemakers, and she loved to cook and care for others.  The well being of people were of great concern to her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colson was preceded in death by her husband: John Colson on August 25, 2007, by a daughter: Judith Colson and by a son: Stevie Colson and she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Colson leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Paula Hill and her husband Billy of Corinth, KY., 3 sons: Jimmy Colson and his wife Paula of Corinth, KY., Jeff Colson and his wife Samantha of Williamstown, KY. and J. P. Colson and his wife Missy of Dry Ridge, KY.  She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Colson will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, December 14 at the Antioch Church of Christ with Rev. Gene Kearns officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church on Monday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the Antioch Church of Christ, in care of the funeral home.

The McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Wilma Colson.
