Malinda Collett

March 28, 1934 - December 6, 2015

Mrs. Malinda Collett, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, December 6 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 81.  Mrs. Collett was born March 28, 1934 in Roark, KY. to the late Wiley Osborne and Bertha Napier Osborne.  Mrs. Collett was a homemaker and at the time of her passing she was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church.  Mrs. Collett loved outdoor activities including fishing, boating, skiing and riding a 4 wheeler.

Mrs. Collett leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Collett, Sr., 2 sons: Kenneth Collett, Jr. of Latonia, KY., Mitchell Collett of Florence, KY., 1 brother: Edmond Osborne of Essie, KY., 2 sisters: Hazel Caldwell of Beverly, KY., Vina Collett of Essie, KY. and she was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Malinda Collett will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, December 10 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Payton officiating.  Visitation will be there on Wednesday, December 9 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
