Ms. Kathleen Marie Jackson passed away Monday, September 14 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 58. Ms. Jackson was born August 4, 1957 in Covington, KY. to Nancy Barney Volker and the late Ralph Louis Volker. Ms. Jackson was an E-911 Operator for Cynthiana & Harrison County, KY. and at the time of her passing she was a member of the St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown, KY. Ms. Jackson was formerly with the Calloway County, KY. Fire Department and was the first female fire captain in that county. She was active with the search and rescue team in Western Kentucky and was involved in the German Shepherd Dog club. Other interests included photography and she was an accomplished artist. In addition to her father, Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by a brother: Ralph Volker in 2009. Ms. Jackson leaves to mourn her passing a son: Bobby Tidwell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her mother: Mrs. Nancy Volker of Corinth, KY., sisters: Pat Lenhoff of Williamstown, KY., Bonnie Hicks of Corinth, KY. and Mary Ann Spivey of Williamstown, KY. She was also blessed with 3 grandchildren. Graveside services for Ms. Kathleen Marie Jackson will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, September 18 at the St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Ms. Kathleen Marie Jackson.
