Irene Crouch

April 19, 1928 - August 16, 2015

Mrs. Irene Crouch, of Florence, KY. passed away Sunday, August 16 at home at the age of 87. Mrs. Crouch was born April 19, 1928 in Vevay, Indiana to the late Alexander Boss and Alda Jump Boss. Mrs. Crouch was a retired factory worker for Duro Bag Co. as well as Equitable Bag Co. She was a member of the Crittenden Christian Church. Mrs. Crouch loved to fish and enjoyed listening to and attending bluegrass music and gospel music venues. She will be fondly remembered by her family for her willingness to care for others in all situations. Mrs. Crouch was preceded in death by her husband, Luther E. Crouch on April 5, 2010. Mrs. Crouch leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Linda Lower of Florence, KY., 2 sons: Kenneth L. Crouch of Bryan, OH. and Donald J. Crouch of Dry Ridge, KY. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Crouch will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, August 22 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Chipman and Rev. Sean Ryan officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 22 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Crittenden Cemetery. Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the St. Elizabeth Hospice or the United Methodist Children's Home.
