William Baker

Mr. William Baker, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Tuesday, August 11 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 74. Mr. Baker was born in London, KY. on September 7,1940. He was a retired city employee for the City of New Richmond, Ohio and he served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed being with family and especially his grandchildren. He also was a big sports fan and would watch any kind of sport on TV. Mr. Baker leaves to mourn his passing 3 sons: William (Jennifer) Baker, Jr. of Crittenden, KY., David Nelson of Crittenden, KY. and Anthony (Lindsay) Baker of Dry Ridge, KY., his mother: Linda Baker of New Richmond, Ohio and he was blessed with 10 grandchildren. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by a son: Michael Nelson in 2000 and by a sister: Polly Baker. Funeral services for Mr. William Baker will be conducted 12:30 pm Monday, August 17 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, KY. with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Visitation will be there on Monday, August 17 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
