Mrs. Alberta Ophelia Johnson, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Dry Ridge. Mrs. Johnson was born February 27, 1935 in Covington, Virginia to the late Aubrey A. Paxton and Carrie V. Kay Paxton. Mrs. Johnson was a retired machine operator for Johnson Controls in Florence, KY. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded by her husband Robert Johnson and by a son: Robert D. Johnson on October 20, 2010 and she was preceded in death by brothers: Danny Paxton and Roger Paxton. Mrs. Johnson leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Kathy Susan Arnold of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 sister: Mary Ann Marks of Madison Heights, Virginia, 1 brother: Alfred Paxton of Covington, Virginia and she was blessed with 5 grandchildren: Brandon Wyatt of Dry Ridge, KY., Brittany Johnson of Dry Ridge, KY., Erica Scroggins of Florence, KY., Rebecca Johnson of Smyrna, TN., and Brandy Johnson of Kansas. She also has 7 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. There will be no visitation and services for Mrs. Alberta Ophelia Johnson will be at the convenience of the family. The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, of Dry Ridge, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Johnson.
