Gladys Stone

Mrs. Gladys Stone, of Williamstown, KY. formerly of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away, Wednesday, April 15 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY. at the age of 87. Gladys was born December 8, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Henry Stone and Carrie Piercefield Stone. Gladys was a homemaker and farmer all of her life. She was a proud member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Missionary Union. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Straub. Gladys leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Frances McIntosh and her husband, George of Florence, KY; 3 grandchildren: Steven Straub and his wife, Karri of Dry Ridge, KY., Jennifer McMillian and her husband, Brendan of Peach Grove, KY., Jacqueline Rice and her husband, Jeremy of Butler, KY. Gladys was blessed with 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Gladys Stone will be conducted 1pm on Saturday, April 18 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Mark Payton officiating. Visitation will also be there on Saturday from 11am until the time of service. Burial will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Dry Ridge Baptist Church through the funeral home.
