Ella Rose Bobb

March 6, 1938 - April 2, 2015

Mrs. Ella Rose Bobb, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Thursday, April 2 at St. Elizabeth Grant County at the age of 77. Mrs. Bobb was born March 6, 1938 in Boone County, KY. to the late George I. Rector and Laverne Brown Rector. Mrs. Bobb was a van driver for the Northern Kentucky Senior Services, very active with the Williamstown Senior Citizens Center, attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel. Mrs. Bobb enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden, operating farm machinery including Bobcat loaders and she enjoyed crafting. Mrs. Bobb leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Kenneth L. Bobb, 1 son: Kevin Bobb of Dry Ridge, KY. and 1 daughter: Kitty McKinley and her husband Chris of Dry Ridge, KY. She has 2 step grandchildren: Blake Christopher McKinley and Andrew Michael McKinley both of Florence, KY. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Dandy. Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Rose Bobb will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, April 4 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Roger Brown officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 4 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions if desired should be directed to the Dry Ridge Fire Department/EMS to whom the family is most grateful for all their help and support. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Due to the extreme amount of rain received, the burial has been delayed.
