Mrs. Betty Elizabeth (nee Rosepiler) Rauschenbach, of Williamstown, KY. and formerly of Crittenden, KY. passed away Tuesday, March 24 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 100. Mrs. Rauschenbach was born November 22, 1914 in Beaver, Pennsylvania to the late John and Mary Grunet Rosepiler. Mrs. Rauschenbach was a homemaker and farmer and a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Rauschenbach was the widow of Curtis Rauschenbach. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rauschenbach was preceded in death by a son: Harvey Schmidt and by an infant son: Jimmy Schmidt and she was preceded in death by all her siblings, John, Elsie, Ann, Margaret and Bill. Mrs. Rauschenbach leaves to mourn her passing a daughter-in-law: Donna Schmidt of Crittenden, KY., 4 grandchildren: Betty Miller, Kathy Manning, David Schmidt, Steve Schmidt, 2 step grandchildren: Gary Rauschenbach, Wayne Rauschenbach, 5 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 3 step great, great grandchildren and 3 step great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Elizabeth Rauschenbach will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, March 30 at the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in Canton, OH. with Pastor Diana Thompson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, March 27 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, KY. and on Monday in Canton, OH. from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Canton, OH. Memorial contributions if desired should be directed to the American Cancer Society.
