John Ed Moore

Mr. John Ed Moore, of Corinth, KY. passed away Friday, January 23 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 56. John was born March 3, 1958 in Georgetown, KY. to the late Cecil Junior Moore and Mabel Thompson Moore. John was a welder for Qualex Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY. and he was a devoted University of Kentucky Wildcat fan. John will be fondly remembered by his family for being a loving father and grandfather. John leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 35 years: Cynthia Townsend Moore, 1 son: John R. Moore of Taylor Mill, KY., 1 daughter: Julie Grace Pitts of Williamstown, KY., 1 sister: Marie Shafer of Corinth, KY., 1 brother: Cecil Ray Moore of Williamstown, KY. and 1 grandson: Elliott G. Pitts. Funeral services for John Ed Moore will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, January 28 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth, KY. with Rev. Jay Holt officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 27 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be in the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions if desired should be directed to the Lawrenceville Baptist Church.
