Mrs. Monica Lee Schneider, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at her residence at the age of 60. Monica was born October 3, 1954 in Dry Ridge, KY. to the late Ralph & Iva Lee Webster Pettit. Monica was a longtime self-employed hairdresser who took great pride in her work. At the time of her passing Monica was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. Monica will be fondly remembered by her family as being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her garden and tending to her flowers as well as fishing and Monica was a huge Elvis Presley fan. In addition to her parents, Monica was preceded in death by a brother, Darius C. Pettit in 2008. Monica Lee Schneider leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 25 years, Steven R. Schneider, 1 daughter: Montee Bates of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 son: Dale Arnold of Crittenden, KY., 1 stepson: Steven Douglas Schneider of Bellevue, KY., 3 sisters: Phyllis Beach, Patsy Wright, & Pamela Geohring all of Dry Ridge, KY, 2 brothers: Anthony Pettit & Dennis Pettit both of Dry Ridge, KY. Monica was blessed with 7 grandchildren. Memorial services for Mrs. Monica Lee Schneider will be conducted 4:30 pm Saturday, January 24 at the Clark's Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Watkins officiating. In her desire to help her fellow man through the study of medical science, Monica bequeathed her body to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
