Merriem May Qualls

Mrs. Merriem Qualls, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Saturday, January 10 at the Providence Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY. at the age of 87. Mrs. Qualls was born May 4, 1927 in Redford Township, MI. to the late Charles Russell and Sadie Choate Russell. Mrs. Qualls was a retired Legal Secretary and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son: Douglas Merrell. Mrs. Qualls leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Courtland Qualls; 3 daughters: Denise Qualls of Burlington, N.C., Pamela Latimer of Camino, CA. and Trisha Gross of Henderson, NV; 2 sons: Bruce Merrell of Sisters, OR. and Brian Merrell of Ceres, CA; She was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 10am on Friday, January 16 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Friday from 9am until the funeral hour. If desired, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association through the funeral home.
