Mr. Bobby Eugene Jones of Berry, KY. passed away Saturday, January 3 at the U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY at the age of 80. Bobby was born July 20, 1934 in Owen County, KY. to the late Hallie Jones and Loretta Hunter Epperson. Mr. Jones was a life long farmer. When Mr. Jones wasn't working on the farm he loved to fish. At the time of his passing, Bobby was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Berry, KY. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, Hallie Jones. Mr. Jones leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 60 years: Juanita Morris Jones; 2 daughters: Valerie Jones of Nashville, N.C. and Connie (Kenny) Gaunce of Berry, KY; 2 sons: Danny (Mary Jane) Jones of Berry, KY. and David Jones of Berry, KY. His mother: Loretta Epperson of Corinth, KY; 2 sisters: Gladys Poe of Corinth, KY. and Bonnie Jones of Ft. Mitchell, KY; 2 brothers: Henry Jones of Corinth, KY. and Leroy Jones of Corinth, KY. Bobby was blessed 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be conducted 1pm Monday, January 5 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Paul Marksberry and Bro. Jimmy Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the New Columbus Cemetery in Owen County. Visitation for Mr. Jones will also be at the funeral home on Monday, January 5 from 11am until the time of service.
