Nora Mae Sturgeon

October 26, 1930 - December 22, 2014

Mrs. Nora Mae Sturgeon passed away Monday, December 22 at the Grant Center Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 84. Nora was born October 26, 1930 in Verona, KY. to the late John Wallace and the late Gipsy Sturgeon. Nora loved watching television and doing puzzle books. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Dry Ridge Presbyterian Church. In addition her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years James D. Sturgeon; 2 sisters: Queenie Wallace and Viola Webster. Nora leaves to mourn her passing 1 sister: Hilda Varner of Dry Ridge, KY; 2 nieces: Brenda (Leslie) Watts of Walton, KY. and Dixie (Colby) McClure of Dry Ridge, KY. She also leaves behind several other nieces and nephews. Visitation for Nora will be held on Friday, December 26 from 12-1pm in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Funeral Services for Nora will be held 1pm Friday, after the visitation hour with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadridge Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
