Mrs. Sandra Arthur True, of Corinth, KY. passed away Tuesday, November 25 at the U.K. Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 68. Sandy was born on August 12, 1946 in Corinth, KY. to the late Robert and Wilma Colson Arthur. Sandy was a beautician, she was also employed as a Customer Service Representative with Kentucky Farm Bureau and with the New York Life Insurance Company as an insurance agent. She was a faithful member of the Corinth Christian Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She served on the Women in Rural Electric Scholarship committee and as a past Matron with the Order of the Eastern Star. Sandy loved to garden and spend time with her family and church family. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a very giving person and servant to the Lord. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by one sister: Bonnie Newsome; One brother: Donald Arthur. Mrs. True leaves to mourn her passing her husband of almost 50 years: Robert L. True; A daughter: Lisa (Chris) Smith of Dry Ridge, KY; A sister: Billie Jo (Jim) Henage of Dry Ridge, KY; Two grandchildren: Jansen Smith and Kacia Smith both of Dry Ridge, KY; Three sisters in law: Bobbi Arthur of Waterford, MI, Arlene Norton of Lexington, KY. and Anita Ratcliff of Lexington, KY; One brother in law: Larry (Donna) True of Corinth, KY. Visitation for Sandy will be 3:00 -8:00 pm Saturday, November 29 at the Corinth Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, November 30 at the Corinth Christian Church with Bro. Quintin McNabb and Bro. Tommy Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions are suggested to the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery and Camp Northward. The arrangements for Mrs. Sandra L.
