Ira Spangler

Mr. Ira Spangler of Augusta, KY. passed away Monday, November 10 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 86. Mr. Spangler was born May 28, 1928 in Mayking, KY. to the late Lindsay and Ethel Frazier Spangler. Ira worked for General Motors for several years. He belonged and enjoyed going to the Bracken County Senior Citizens. Ira served his country in the U.S. Army. Ira leaves to mourn his passing a son: Buford Spangler of Florence, KY; 1 daughter: Gloria Davis of Erlanger, KY; A step son: Tommy Litterel of Virginia; 1 brother: Don Spangler of Virginia. Funeral Services for Mr. Spangler will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, November 12 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, KY. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
