Mr. Albert "Al" Humbert, of Ft. Mitchell, KY. passed away Wednesday, November 5 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 69. Al, as he was better known, was born August 22, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Frank Humbert and Mary Wilder Humbert. Al was a retired brakeman for CSX Railroad. Al enjoyed working on cars, computer games, motorcycles, playing pool, his dogs, and he was an avid card player. He will be fondly remembered by his family for his love of spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Al leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 47 years: Mary Jacob Humbert, 1 daughter: Tina Vallandingham of Ft. Mitchell, KY., 2 sons: Tony (Vanessa) Humbert of Florence, KY. and Mike (Kim) Humbert of Burlington, KY., 2 sisters: Rosemary Longhauser of Bethel, OH. and Peggy Burkey of Florida. Al was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Albert "Al" Humbert will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 11 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge, KY with Dr. Thomas L. Elliott officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 11 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions if desired are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Pediatric Heart Association.
