Candy Tapia

Candida "Candy" Tapia, of Georgetown, KY. passed away Thursday, October 16 at the Chandler University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 40. Candy was born February 4, 1974 in Frankfort, KY. to the late David Cabbage and Sharon House. Candy enjoyed doing puzzles and drinking sweet tea. Candy loved cabbage patch dolls and her dog, Little Bit. At the time of her passing, Candy was a member of the New Columbus Baptist Church. Candy leaves to mourn her passing her mother: Sharon House Tapia of Georgetown, KY; A sister, Catrina Mendez of Georgetown, KY; Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Monday, October 20 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Tuesday, October 21 at the New Columbus Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in the Caney Fork Cemetery in Owen County. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
