Mrs. Edith May Hall, of Mt. Olivet, KY. passed away Wednesday, September 10 at the Robertson County Health Care Center at the age of 92. Mrs. Hall was born July 28, 1922 in Sherman, KY. to the late James Edward Duncan and Olga Hildreth Marquette Duncan. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker. Mrs. Hall enjoyed crocheting, was an avid reader and a former cook for Mitt's Restaurant in Williamstown. She will be fondly remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother who loved to babysit her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband: Ponder Samuel Hall on May 9, 1979. Mrs. Hall leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Beverly Watkins and her husband Tommy of Cynthiana, KY., 3 sons: Sam Hall and his wife Karen of Independence, KY., Mike Hall and his wife Jerry of Georgetown, KY. and Tom Hall and his wife Melbadean of Pendleton, KY., 3 sisters: Rose Gilker of Ludlow, KY., Roberta Reeves of Chicago, ILL. and Patsy Gronie of Ludlow, KY. Mrs. Hall was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Edith May Hall will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, September 13 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, KY. with Pastor Tom Hall officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 13 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the Robertson County Health Care Center Resident's Fund or to the Hospice of Hope, Maysville, KY.
