Okla B. Motley

Mrs. Okla B. Motley, of Corinth, KY. passed away Saturday, July 12 at home at the age of 94. Mrs. Motley was born March 21, 1920 in Flemingsburg, KY. to the late Benjamin Harrison Hughes and Ethel Ann Gross Hughes. Mrs. Motley operated the Freeway Restaurant in Corinth for many years and was a co-owner of the business. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Oxford Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Motley was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Motley on February 25, 2012. Mrs. Motley leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Frankie Dalton of Corinth, KY., a son: Anthony Motley of Corinth, KY., a brother: Sam Hughes of Georgetown, KY., and she was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Motley will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 16 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Quintin McNabb officiating. Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the charity of one's choice.
