Mrs. Joan Link of Highland Heights, KY. passed away Friday, May 2 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. at the age of 76. Joan was born on August 20, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Howard and Naomi Penick Lawrence. Joan worked as a waitress for several years but her greatest joy was being at home taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ellis in 1955 and a son, Dale Link in 1988. Joan leaves to mourn her passing a daughter, Donna Ingram of Bellevue, KY; One sister, Betty Taylor of Williamstown, KY; Two brothers, Thomas Lawrence of Melbourne, KY. and Michael Lawrence of Burlington, KY; Three grandchildren, Jennifer Sexton of Bellevue, KY, Jackie Sexton of Bellevue, KY. and Jessica Sexton of Highland Heights, KY; Two great-grandchildren, Jezrael Parker of Highland Heights, KY. and Jo Jo Alvarado of Highland Heights, KY. Funeral services for Joan will be conducted 4pm Wednesday, May 7 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY. with Rev. Ronnie Angell officiating. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 pm until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the HillCrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the family through the funeral home.
