Lana Hensley Johnson

June 21, 1951 - March 15, 2014

Lana Hensley Johnson, of Corinth, KY. passed away Saturday, March 15 at St. Elizabeth Grant County at the age of 62. Lana was born on June 21, 1951 in Owenton, KY. to the late Otha Lee "Jack" Hensley and Ella Margaret Adams McComas. At the time of her passing Lana was employed at Noble's Truck Stop as a fuel attendant. Lana enjoyed fishing, cooking and reading. She was a member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church. In addition to her father, Lana was preceded in death by a sister: Verna Mink. Lana leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Andria Whaley of Dry Ridge, KY; her mother: Ella Margaret McComas of Williamstown, KY; Two brothers: Elwood McComas, Jr and his wife, Debbie of Holbrook, KY; William Hensley and his wife, Jan of Gleason, TN; Three grandchildren: Olivia Whaley, Patrick Whaley and Sophia Whaley. Visitation for Lana will be held 5-9pm on Wednesday, March 19 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth. Funeral Services for Lana will be conducted 11am Thursday, March 20 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Bro. Josiah McComas officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Holbrook, KY. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Grant County Animal Shelter.
