Janet C. Scroggins

Mrs. Janet C. Scroggins, of Crittenden, KY. passed away Friday, March 14 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 75. Mrs. Scroggins was born July 25, 1938 in Golds Valley, KY. to the late Earlie Otto Crouch and Eula Smith Crouch. Mrs. Scroggins was a retired clerk for the Internal Revenue Service and was a former beautician. Mrs. Scroggins had been a former member of the Crittenden City Council, former president of the PTA and had been active with the Girl Scouts. At the time of her passing Mrs. Scroggins was a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. Mrs. Scroggins leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Franklin Dewey Scroggins, 1 daughter: Robin Scroggins of Crittenden, KY., 1 brother: James A. Crouch of Erlanger, KY. Visitation for Mrs. Scroggins will be Monday, March 17 from 5-9pm in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Funeral Services for Mrs. Scroggins will be conducted 1pm Tuesday, March 18 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Howard Chipman and Rev. Sean Ryan officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Pisgah Cemtery, Dry Ridge. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
