Ruby Vallandingham

July 17, 1922 - January 14, 2014

Ruby Vallandingham, of Greenville, Ohio passed away January 14 at the Heartland of Greenville Nursing Home at the age of 91. Ruby was born on July 17, 1922 in New Columbus, KY. to the late Frank and Bessy Wright Burton. Ruby had worked as a Lab Technician for Hilltop Research in Miamiville, OH. for several years. Ruby had several hobbies which included sewing, gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband: Thomas Dixon in 1968; her second husband: Hubert Vallandingham in 1988; a son Timothy Vallandingham in 2004; 3 sisters: Bertha Cornelious, Flossie Dixon and Sylvia Cook; a brother: David Burton. Ruby leaves to mourn her passing a son: William (Barbara) Dixon of Cincinnati, OH., 2 grandchildren: William D. Dixon of Liberty Township, OH. and Josh Vallandingham of Russia, OH. She also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 17 at the HillCrest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. with Rev. Ronnie Angell officiating.
