Mr. Donald Link, of Corinth, KY. passed away, Monday, September 16 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood at the age of 83. Mr. Link was born June 22, 1930 in Keefer, KY. to the late Florian Link and Mendola Lawrence Link. Mr. Link retired after 30 years of service with the General Motors Corporation, working in assembly and as a supervisor. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers and he served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army as a medic. Mr. Link was a dedicated member of the Antioch Church of Christ and served his church and his Lord as an Elder and a former member of the Church Board. In addition to his parents, Mr. Link was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy "Dot" Link on September 12, 2006. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Maldon Link, Florian Link, Jr. and Robert Link. Mr. Link leaves to mourn his passing his daughters: Debbie Jo (Jeff) Wright of Dry Ridge, KY. and Donna K. (Ronnie) Cummins of Corinth, KY., he has 1 brother: Wayne (Connie) Link of Williamstown, KY. and 4 sisters: Doris (Charles) Lyons of Bellefontaine, OH., Gloria Middleton of Dry Ridge, KY., Glenna Simpson of Williamstown, KY. and Kay (George) Frost of Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Link will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, September 20 at the Antioch Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the Antioch Church of Christ on Thursday, September 19 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm and on Friday before the funeral from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Antioch Church Cemetery. McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Link.
