Mrs. Joan Marie Schuetz, of Erlanger, KY. passed away Wednesday, August 21 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 86. Mrs. Schuetz was born in Newport, KY. on September 20, 1926 to the late Irvin Barkus and Marie Koening Barkus. Mrs. Schuetz was a homemaker and the widow of Thomas J. Schuetz. Mr. Schuetz passed away in 2002. Mrs. Schuetz leaves to mourn her passing 4 sons: Thomas Joseph Schuetz of Florence, KY., Steven (Kelly) Schuetz of Elsmere, KY., Kean Michael Schuetz of Florence, KY. and Gordon Patrick Schuetz of Florence, KY. She has 1 grandson: Shane Andrew Schuetz of Elsmere, KY. There will be visitation for Mrs. Schuetz on Saturday, August 24 at the Baptist Village Long House, 3000 Riggs Avenue, Erlanger, KY. from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow at the Corinth Cemetery in the family mausoleum. The arrangements for Mrs. Schuetz have been entrusted to the McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY.
