Melody Edmondson

Melody Edmondson, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Monday, August 5 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice Unit in Williamstown at the age of 61. Melody was born November 2, 1951 in Verona, KY. to the late Wilbur Earl Florence and Florence Sipple Florence. Melody was a supervisor and quality control inspector for Fuji Auto and Dorman Products. Melody was active with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, enjoyed playing softball, reading and was an avid University of Kentucky fan. At the time of her passing Melody was a member of the Vine Run Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Melody was preceded in death by a sister: Maureen Beach in 2012. Melody leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Shannon Edmondson of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 sister: Belinda Kinmon of Verona, KY. and 1 brother: David Wilson of Ghent, KY. Funeral services for Melody will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, August 10 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Jerry Summers officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, August 9 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
