Elouise Smith

Mrs. Elouise "Peggy" Crawford Smith, of Owenton, KY. passed away Friday, July 26 at home at the age of 70. Mrs. Smith was born August 2, 1942 in Sanders, KY. to the late Willie Crawford & Eva Mae Skirvin Crawford. Mrs. Smith was retired from Owen Electric after 27 years of service and had also formerly worked for the State of Kentucky in personnel. At the time of her passing Mrs. Smith was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter: Kimberly Sue Smith in 2008 and by a sister: Joyce DeMasters. Mrs. Smith leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Oldham Smith and 2 brothers: Tommy Crawford of Gallatin County and Billy Crawford of Owen County. There will be no visitation and services for Mrs. Smith will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Wheatley Cemetery, Owen County. McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with these arrangements.
