Verna Lee Edmondson

Mrs. Verna Lee Edmondson, of Florence, KY. passed away Thursday, May 30 at home at the age of 72. Mrs. Edmondson was born February 17, 1941 in Dry Ridge, KY. to the late H. Clay Nix and Eva Marksberry Nix. Mrs. Edmondson was retired from Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. and was a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. She enjoyed travel and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edmondson was preceded in death by a sister: Arnetta Marksberry in 2008. Mrs. Edmondson leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Henry R. Edmondson, 2 daughters: Lee Ellen (Kevin) Lynam of Covington, KY. & Crystal Gail (Jerry) Poe of Independence, KY. She was blessed with 3 grandchildren: Hadleigh Jones, Presley Poe and Kylee Poe. Funeral services for Mrs. Edmondson will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, June 3 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Silvanik officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 2 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
