Shirley Wright

Mrs. Shirley J. Wright of Dry Ridge, passed away May 1 at St.Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 61. Shirley was born on Dec. 11, 1951 in New Columbus, KY. to the late Marvin Wright and Mary Helen Farley Wright. Shirley was a lifelong farmer and horse boarder. She was a caregiver, dear friend and mother to many. Shirley was the widow of Henry C. Wright, who passed away on February 5, 2009. Shirley was preceded in death by 1 sister: Lynda Cook. Shirley leaves to mourn her passing, 1 daughter: Cassandra Simpson of Dry Ridge, KY., 2 sons: Todd Wright of Dry Ridge, KY. and Dale Clifton Wright of Dry Ridge, KY., her mother: Mary Helen Jones of Corinth, KY., 2 brothers: Jerry Wright of Georgetown, KY. and James Jones of Corinth, KY. Shirley is also survived by her grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Wright will be held 1pm Monday, May 6, 2013 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Sunday, May 5, 2013 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Burial will take place in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County.
