Bernie Fulks

Mrs. Bernie Fulks, of Corinth, KY. passed away Tuesday, March 19 at home at the age of 82. Mrs. Fulks was born April 1, 1930 in Magnolia, KY. to the late Jesse Otis Pottinger and Valeria Slayton Pottinger. Mrs. Fulks was a beautician and hairdresser and for over 20 years she and her late husband, William, worked as custodians for the Mason-Corinth Elementary School. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Fulks was a member of the New Columbus Baptist Church. Mrs. Fulks was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Fulks on October 19, 2009. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fulks was preceded in death by a daughter: Bonnie Jo Shepherd. Mrs. Fulks leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters: Peggy Johnson of Springboro, OH. and Debbie Brumley of Corinth, KY. She has 1 sister: Gracie Howell of Hodgenville, KY. and she was blessed with 2 grandchildren: Shannon Shane and Emily Seltzer and 2 great grandchildren: Brett Allen Richter and McKena Seltzer. Funeral services for Mrs. Fulks will be conducted 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 23 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Gary Gross officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
