Bobbie Beach

Mrs. Thekla Barbara "Bobbie" Beach of Dry Ridge passed away on March 17 at the Grant Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 85. Mrs. Beach was born July 31, 1927 in Memmingen, Germany to the late Matthias Baer and Babette Dreer Baer. Mrs. Beach was a homemaker and had formerly worked for Engle's Jewelry and Lockhart's Jewelry. At the time of her passing Mrs. Beach was a member of the Vine Run Baptist Church. Mrs. Beach was preceded in death by her husband: Glendon E. Beach. Mr. Beach passed away May 6, 2007 and by a daughter: Angelia T. Furman. Mrs. Furman passed away January 6, 2008. Mrs. Beach leaves to mourn her passing a son: Daniel Beach and his wife Pamela of Dry Ridge, KY. She has several brothers and sisters who all live in Germany. She also has 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Beach will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, March 20 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Josh Howell officating. Visitation will be there on Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the New Vine Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
