Jessie Griffin

Mrs. Jessie C. Griffin, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Tuesday, February 26 at her home at the age of 93. Mrs. Griffin was born in Grant County, KY. on December 12, 1919 to the late James and Ella Pettit Chipman. Jessie was a homemaker who was devoted to caring for her family. Some of her most precious memories were swinging on her front porch with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband: Carl T. Griffin, Sr in 1977, 1 daughter: Judy Minch, 1 son: Garry W. Griffin, Sr., 1 sister: Catherine Osborne. Mrs. Griffin leaves to mourn her passing, 3 sons: Carl T. Griffin, Jr., Jimmie D. Griffin and John F. Griffin all of Dry Ridge. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
