Margarette Colson

Mrs. Margarette Souder Colson, of Benton, KY. and formerly of Williamstown, KY. passed away Sunday, February 10 in Benton, KY. at the age of 89. Mrs. Colson was born December 6, 1923 in Keefer, KY. to the late Bennie Souder and Dorothy Wilson Souder. Mrs. Colson was a homemaker and at the time of her passing she was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colson was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Colson on January 22, 2007 and by grandchildren: Vickie Rene Odor in 1998 and Scott Tracy Odor in 2004 and by a brother: Harold Souder in 2012. Mrs. Colson leaves to mourn her passing a daughter: Brenda Odor of Leesburg, FL., 3 sons: Bennie Lee Colson of Fort Mill, SC., Brad Colson of Benton, KY., and Blaine Colson of Sadieville, KY., 2 brothers: Elton Souder of Dry Ridge, KY. and Edward Souder of Corinth, KY., 3 sisters: Betty Delaney of Florence, KY., Edith Latimer of Williamstown, KY. and Myra Nicholson of Dry Ridge, KY.,7 grandchildren: Matthew Colson, Jennifer Waters, Brian Colson, Brenda Lynette Darnall, Bradley Colson, Heidi Colson and Brandon Colson, and she has 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Colson will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, February 15 at the Antioch Church of Christ, at Keefer, near Corinth, KY. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth. Burial will be in the Antioch Church Cemetery.
