Lucille Ratcliff

Lucille Ratcliff, of Corinth, KY. passed away Wednesday, December 19 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 82. Mrs. Ratcliff was born September 6, 1930 in Scott County, KY. to the late Roy Vance and Pearl Sutton Vance. Mrs. Ratcliff was a homemaker and a former cook for the Corinth School and many years ago she worked at the MacGregor Baseball Factory in Corinth. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and quilting. At the time of her passing Mrs. Ratcliff was a member of the Corinth Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ratcliff was preceded in death by a grand daughter: Allison Ratcliff and by a brother: Chester Vance. Mrs. Ratcliff leaves to mourn her passing her husband: William O. "Billy" Ratcliff. 1 daughter: Veda Brown of Corinth, KY., 2 sons: Billy Ray Ratcliff of Naples, FL. and Kenny Ratcliff of Corinth, KY., 1 sister: Artie Burgess of Georgetown, KY., 2 brothers: Earl Vance of Georgetown, KY. and Joe Vance of Corinth, KY. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services and burial for Mrs. Ratcliff will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, December 22 at the Corinth Cemetery with Rev. Jason Brown, Rev. Kent Allender and Rev. Quintin McNabb officiating. There will be no visitation. The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ratcliff have been entrusted to the McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY.
