Gary Hamlin

July 18, 1948 - December 2, 2012

Mr. Gary J. Hamlin, of Dry Ridge, passed away Sunday, December 2 in the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY at the age of 64. Gary was born on July 18, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William H. and Maxine Hamlin. Gary enjoyed helping others and serving the Lord. He was a member of the Rock of Ages Chuch in Covington. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a step-child: Paula Lane. Mr. Hamlin is survived by his wife: Pauline Coomer Hamlin. Daughters: Sherry Hamlin, Lanita Hamlin, Linda Hamlin and Cindy Hamlin. Sons: Gary Hamlin, Jr., David Hamlin, Jason Hamlin and Oscar Hamlin. Step-Children: Billy Scott, Angela Tharpe and Kenneth(Nita)Scott. Gary is also survived by 3 sisters and 4 brothers and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Hamlin will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge.
