Jean Duncan

Mrs. Jean Duncan of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Monday, November 26 at her home at the age of 83. Mrs. Duncan was born December 10, 1928 in Williamstown, KY. to the late Harold Brewer and Eula Whitton Brewer. Mrs. Duncan was a retired cafeteria employee with the Dry Ridge Elementary School as well as the Grant County Middle School. Mrs. Duncan enjoyed playing cards, working in her yard, quilting, and crocheting. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Knoxville Baptist Church. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pete" Duncan in 1995. Mrs. Duncan leaves to mourn her passing a son: Mitchell (Betty) Duncan of Independence, KY., a daughter: Shelly (Tammy Ramsey) Duncan of Brooksville, KY., 2 sisters: Betty Sue (Charles) Flege of Dry Ridge, KY., and Donna (Billy) Cruey of Dry Ridge, KY. She has 1 granddaughter: Kelly Jean Duncan of Erlanger, KY., 1 step grandson: Todd (Christy) Haley of Walton, KY., 2 step great grandchildren: Brianna Jones and Micayla Haley. Funeral services for Mrs. Duncan will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, November 29 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Dwight Parker officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Serving as pallbearers are Mitchell Duncan, Billy Cruey, Charles Flege, Tony Brewer, Bobby Switzer and Paul Elliott.
