Warner L. Wilson

Warner L. "Sam" Wilson, of Somerset, KY. passed away Wednesday, October 24 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. at the age of 75. Mr. Wilson was born on May 16, 1937 in Florence, KY. to the late Leo Gilbert Wilson and Virginia Christine Shelton Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a retired communications supervisor with Norfolk Southern Railroad with 36 years of service. Mr. Wilson served his country as a member of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, Mr.Wilson was preceded in death by 1 brother, Louis Wilson. Mr. Wilson leaves to mourn his passing his wife Bonetta Lawrence Wilson. 1 daughter, Lisa Caudill of Danville, KY. 1 son, Jeffery (Angela) Wilson of Georgetown, IN. 2 Sisters, Mary Oberschlake and Sally Wallace. 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Grace, Samuel and Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, October 29, 2012 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, October, 28 from 3-6 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
