Norman W. Dunn, of Williamstown, KY. passed away Friday, August 3 in the Emergency Room at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 79. Mr. Dunn was born August 1, 1933 in Cordova, KY. to the late Floyd Dunn and Roxie Milner Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a retired computer specialist with Western-Southern Life Insurance Company where he worked for 35 years. Mr. Dunn graduated with a BS degree in Commerce from the Salmon P. Chase College. He was a member and former Secretary with the Grant County Cattleman's Association and he was a member of the Limousine Cattle Association, the Sherman Church of Christ and former member, elder and deacon of the Erlanger Church of Christ. Mr. Dunn served his country in the United States Air Force and he was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by sisters: Marjorie Hook and Melrose Lawrence and by a brother: Marley Dunn. Mr. Dunn leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 35 years, Linda L. Dunn. 1 son: Daniel W. Dunn of Union, KY. and 1 daughter: Karen A. Burton of Lexington, KY. 1 sister: Marilyn Dunn Ransdell of Burlington, KY. and 1 brother: Wendell R. Dunn of Cincinnati, OH. He has 4 grandsons: Chase A. Dunn, Carson T. Burton, Clay W. Burton and Conner J. Burton. Funeral service for Mr. Dunn will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7 at the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, August 6 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with these arrangements.
