Mary Ellen Lonkard

Mary Ellen Lonkard, of Williamstown, KY. passed away Friday, June 15 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 58. Mrs. Lonkard was born July 12, 1953 in Grant County, KY. to the late Cecil Barnes and Dorothy Brewer Barnes. Mrs. Lonkard was a beautician with Hair Line Styling Salon in Williamstown, KY. and at the time of her passing she was a member of the Mt. Olivet Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lonkard was preceded in death by a brother: Lenuel Barnes in 2006 and by sisters: Kathleen Moak in 2004, Carol McCreary in 2008 and Sue Ellis in 2009. Mrs. Lonkard leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 40 years, Richard Lonkard. She has 2 daughters: Kristina Webster of Williamstown, KY. and Janelle Lilly of Corinth, KY., 1 son: Timothy Webster of Williamstown, KY. She has 1 sister: Wilma (Marvin) Updike of Dry Ridge, KY., 2 brothers: Donald (Darlene) Barnes of Corinth, KY. and Brent Allen Barnes of Williamstown, KY. She has 3 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Lonkard will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 19 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Howard Chipman and Rev. Mike Felts officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home 4:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
