Homer Brown

Homer Brown, of Corinth, KY passed away May 27, 2012 at Grant Manor Health Care in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 92. Mr. Brown was born November 27, 1919 in Waynesburg, KY. to the late Jason Brown and Lucy Hubble Brown. Mr. Brown was a lifelong farmer and proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Brown was a faithful member of the Corinth Christian Church where he formerly served as an elder, church treasurer, Sunday school superintendent and Sunday school teacher. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a son: Carl Brown in 1968. Mr. Brown leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Thelma Campbell Brown, 4 daughters, Joyce Reynolds and Sharon Brown both of Corinth, KY., Faye Leach of Georgetown, KY. and Sheila Whaley of Williamstown, KY. He has 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 30 at the Corinth Christian Church with Rev. Quintin McNabb and Rev. Kent Allender officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Eckler Cemetery, Corinth. McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with these arrangements.
