Robert Samuel Beckham

Robert Beckham, of Corinth, KY. passed away Tuesday, February 7 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown at the age of 98. Mr. Beckham was born October 7, 1913 in Georgetown, KY. He was a retired hotel manager with the Puritan Hotel in Louisville, KY. Mr. Beckham proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. At the time of his passing he was a member of the Corinth Christian Church. Mr. Beckham was a former city clerk for the City of Corinth, a member and long time secretary/treasurer of the Corinth Lions Club, and member of the Georgetown American Legion Post 24. Mr. Beckham leaves to mourn his passing 3 sisters: Daisy Parsons of Corinth, KY., Hallie T. Parr of Corinth, KY. and Alma Jones of Berry, KY., 1 brother: Richard Beckham of Corinth, KY. He has several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation for Mr. Beckham and services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
