Ronald Franklin Kennedy, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, November 13 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Williamstown, KY. at the age of 71. Mr. Kennedy was born February 17, 1940 to the late Rev. Kelly Kennedy and Juanita Scroggins Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was a retired civil engineer with St. Elizabeth Hospitals and a truck driver for Drysdale Trucking. Mr. Kennedy also wrote articles for the Lexington Herald and Grant Co. News and was graduate of Walton-Verona High School where he was Senior Class Vice President. Mr. Kennedy leaves to mourn his passing the mother of his children: Darlene Kennedy of Burlington, KY., step mother: Dorothy Kennedy of Dry Ridge, KY., sons: David(Marcia)Kennedy of Hebron, KY, Todd(Kimberly)Kennedy of Campbell Co. KY, Mark Crupper of Ft. Thomas, KY., sister: Nancy Howe of Dry Ridge, KY., brother Jeff Kennedy of Erlanger, KY., and 8 grandchildren: Dalton, Jared, Janel, Brooke, Blake, Jordyn, Joshua, and Blaire. Visitation for Mr. Kennedy will be Saturday, November 19 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the chapel of Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home Dry Ridge, KY. with services following at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Burlington Cemetery located in Burlington, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
