Melissa Sharon Floyd, of London, KY. passed away Sunday, November 13 at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 44. Mrs. Floyd was born in Indiana on December 3, 1966 to the Frances Fryman Stubbs and the lte Floyd Stubbs. Mrs. Floyd was a desk clerk at the Budget Host Hotel in London, KY. and at the time of her passing was a member of the Salem Methodist Church, Sadieville. Mrs. Floyd is survived by her husband, Winford Floyd. She has a daughter: Tisha Stubbs of London, KY. and a son: Billy Floyd of London, KY. She is also survived by sisters: Kim Parr of Corinth, KY. and Madeline Walker of Georgetown, KY. and 1 brother: Greg Stubbs of Cynthiana, KY. She has 1 grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, November 17 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Steve Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
